NOW ON TAP!!! BROOKLYN SORACHI ACE SAISON - a cracklingly dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, made entirely with now-rare Sorachi Ace hops grown by a single farm in Washington. They ferment it with the brewery's special Belgian ale strain, and then add more Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. After the dry-hopping, the beer emerges with a bright spicy lemongrass / lemon zest aroma backed by a wonderfully clean malt flavor. Tastes like Sunshine in a Glass, just as the sun is coming out!!

A sour ale produced by aging barleywine in bourbon barrels for extended periods of time (as long as 2 years in some cases!) Gatlin Damnosus aroma is reminiscent of earthy red wines with a background of caramel and honey, with just a hint of wood and sourness. The flavor is intensely sour with a touch of acetic acid and notes of brown malt toast and ripe red fruit. The bourbon character really adds a savory, woody component that yields subtle notes of coconut and vanilla.
Les Deux Brassuers was a collaboration with Allagash Brewery of Portland Maine and De Proef Brouwerii in Belgium.
From Allagash Brewing:
"Les Deux Brasseurs is a Golden Ale fermented with two strains of Brettanomyces. Our Brettanomyces, discovered and isolated at our location was flown in fresh for this special occasion. With Dirk's favorite strain of Brettanomyces, the beer was brewed using Pilsner Malt and a small amount of Torrified Wheat. The Golden Ale was then hopped with German Hallertau and fermented and aged for four months. In the course of the brew it was dry hopped with Czech Saaz."
The result is a beer of remarkable character with significant fruit tones, including; pear, apple and pineapple. This beer also produces the flavors of graham cracker, barnyard character and is rounded by an herbal spicy hop finish.
